Thanks to you both for your comments!

@Davide:

Yep, indeed, I read Sir Berners Lee article about the subject. It slightly differs from what we convey since his focus was on describing things (semantics and co.) and not so much about literally Web-enabling things, but was still very valuable!

WEBIST and ICWE are indeed good candidates but the problem we might face is that those are almost only (correct me if I'm wrong) attended by Web folks and thus we would miss some researchers from the more Ubicomp/Pervasive fields...

As for touchtheweb.org I really didn't know about this workshop and I must say I quite like their CFP, I'll be at ICWE anyway so I'm seriously considering sending something there, thanks!

I've found this article really dense of stimulating ideas to explore about the WoT. Unluckily I missed WoT2010 but I'd really like to have a chance to participate to WoT2011, so IMHO the workshop must have a sequel. One possibility is to propose the workshop in www2011 in Singapore. As you surely know Sir Berners Lee wrote about the subject (http://ercim-news.ercim.eu/the-web-of-things). Another possibility is WEBIST or ICWE. In ICWE 2010 is planned a brand new workshop called touchtheweb (http://www.touchtheweb.org/ cfp still open).
